WWOOF - is an exchange where three meals a day and accommodation are provide to the WWOOFer by the host, in return for the WWOOFer helping the host with the work he does for about 4 to 6 hours a day, five or six days a week. Stays of various lengths are possible and this is one of the things that the WWOOFer and the host must discuss and agree on. WWOOF is very much about learning and experience, including:

To meet like minded people
To learn sustainable means of living
Permaculture
Growing foods
Alternative means of energy production
Composting
Language and culture
